The pictures below are what it looks like when you literally have your work cut out for you.

My friend Ricky Tillman & I spent a day logging all of the pines he took down to build a road on our property. I've been anxious to get this wood up and staged at the sawmill before it degraded along the sides of the road.

This wood will be used for an outhouse and outbuildings. And as far as furniture goes, I'll be pulling some of the better boards out to make a few tables.

It must be amazing to control over step of the design and build process, starting with the raw materials. Having that kind of control over a project is not something a lot of people can say they've experienced. I'm sure it'll be a ton of work, but well worth the effort!

Ari...Thanks for checking out the website. It's definitely satisfying to see these (any) trees turning into usable lumber and then using that lumber for building and/or furniture projects. I'll definitely have some pictures up once those projects are completed, so keep checking in.
